We loved sipping coffee on our porch swing and enjoying the fine views of the gardens. It was just a short walk to Home Valley Park, where we explored beautiful trails and enjoyed nature.

The location offered was stunning and marvellous close to restaurants, the Oregon trails on the other side of the river and the antique shop in Bingen. The breakfast was wonderful and the room was inviting with an exceptionally comfortable bed.

The hotel was in a beautiful and marvellous location, in various common areas. And it was also close to idyllic getaway, and the Gorge & River. Had a great stay on our vacation and will be back.

Hidden gem with lovely breakfasts
Richard and Theresa's hospitality was great. Breakfast was a good treat each morning, with homemade waffles that we couldn't get enough of.
While our experience was mostly wonderful, the pillows in the Bear's Den could use an upgrade. They felt a bit lumpy. We wished for a fan in the room to help with air circulation during the night.

The breakfasts were hearty, and we appreciated the owners making breakfast to-go, perfect before heading to the Columbia Gorge for a scenic paddleboat ride. It really seemed like a luxury getaway.
One downside was the jacuzzi tub, which ran out of hot water after a long day of hiking, so make sure to time your usage if you have a busy schedule!

It was just a nice choice for a mini-vacation with value for money. I really enjoyed the homemade breakfast with lemon ricotta waffles, delicious. Bring a fan for better air circulation if you find the room a bit warm.
